Born in a small town in the Peruvian Andes, Dr. Diana Shoe moved to the U.S. in 2005 after completing a seven-year medical school in four years in her native country. One of the top students in her class, she graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry with ''great distinction'' (magna cum laude) in 2012. Then, she completed an additional year of learning on their Advanced General Dentistry program. Dr. Diana also studied at Penn State, York, and graduated magna cum laude from Life Science in 2008. She has the honor of being in the top 6% of dentists to have earned an Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship.

Dr. Diana is also a member of the American Dental Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Hispanic Dental Association, and the York Dental Society. She is committed to learning and advancing her knowledge of dentistry and facial esthetics, and she regularly attends specialized training offered by the world's leading dental educators. She frequently goes to courses at the highly regarded Spear Campus in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Diana is also continually growing her expertise in the specialized services she offers.

About Dr. Diana Shoe

Born in Huancayo, Peru, Dr. Diana is fluent in Spanish and English. She came to the United States when she met her husband Jason, an orthodontist. The couple married in 2005 and now have two sons, Dylan and Ian. The family lives in a farmhouse that dates back to the 1800s in Hanover. When Dr. Diana isn't practicing dentistry, she loves to exercise, travel, and spend time watching her sons playing sports.

"I am grateful Hanover welcomed me into their community. I felt as an outsider but now I can finally say I feel I am at home. I am so happy to be able to provide this area with a center that will provide dental and facial esthetic services. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to love their smile, no matter the age. Improving someone's confidence by providing them with the gift of a beautiful smile means the world to me."
